How does Fairway Select match me with other golfers?

We match on the basics that make a round enjoyable: location, handicap range, age, play style (competitive or casual), and walking vs. cart preference. Use the filters on Find Players to narrow the field.

Do I need a verified handicap?

No. You can enter a self-reported handicap or an official index. Adding scorecards over time builds a more accurate trend and helps others trust your number.

How do tee times work?

Tee times on Fairway Select are postings from members and individuals who want to play — either rounds they're hoping to book and need partners for, or standing tee times where they already have the slot reserved and just need additional players to fill the group. For now, you'll book the actual tee time directly with the course (or join the host's existing booking). We're actively working on integrating in-app tee time bookings so you can reserve and pay for the slot in one tap — coming soon.

Who can see my profile?

Your profile is visible to other signed-in members. Your exact address is never shown — only an approximate location for distance-based matching.

Can I save a player for later?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Tap Save on any profile to bookmark them. You'll find saved players in your Matches tab.

Question 7

What if a match doesn't work out?

Accepted Answer

You can cancel or decline any match. We encourage a quick courtesy note, but it's not required. Repeated no-shows may affect your standing in the community.

How do I delete my account?

Head to My Profile and use the delete option at the bottom. Your data is removed within 30 days.
