Privacy Policy

Fairway Select ("we", "us") operates a private community that helps golfers find playing partners, host tee times, and track scores. This policy explains what we collect and why.

When you create an account and use the service, we collect:

• Account data: email and password (or Google sign-in identifier).
• Profile data: full name, age, gender, location, home course, handicap, preferred tee time, play style, bio, profile photo, and preferred courses.
• Activity data: messages you send, match requests, scorecards, tee times you host or join, and payment references for paid bookings.
• Technical data: standard server logs and authentication session cookies.

• Match you with other golfers by handicap, location, age, and play style.
• Display your profile to other signed-in members.
• Enable messaging, hosting tee times, and joining rounds.
• Process payments for paid tee times.
• Keep the platform safe and prevent abuse.

Your profile is visible to all signed-in Fairway Select members. This includes your name, age, gender, location, handicap, home course, photo, bio, and scorecards. Messages are only visible to you and the other participant.

We share data with the following processors strictly to operate the service:

• Lovable Cloud — hosting, database, file storage, and authentication.
• Google — only if you choose to sign in with Google.

We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your profile and the data you own (scorecards, tee times you hosted, match requests, messages you sent) are removed.

You can:

• Access and correct your profile at any time on the profile page.
• Delete your account from the profile page (under "Danger zone").
• Request a copy of your data, or ask us a question, by emailing us at privacy@fairwayselect.com.

If you are in the EU/UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies and browser storage entries to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Fairway Select is for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice. The "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
